Community First Medicare Advantage Alamo Plan launches Senior Citizen Appreciation Day

This event will empower San Antonio Seniors (60+) to learn about their health and medicare programs.

SAN ANTONIO – Aug. 3, 2021 – Residents of San Antonio, in their golden years (60 and older), are invited to Community First Health Plans’ first Senior Appreciation Day themed ‘We Love Our Seniors’. Seniors are invited to attend on August 21 from 8 am – 11 am at the Texas Diabetes Institute, 701 S. Zarzamora St, San Antonio, TX, 78207.

“We want our seniors to ask us questions, inquire about the services we provide and have fun in the process.” says Theresa Scepanski, President and CEO, Community First Health Plans.

The Community First Health Plans We Love Our Seniors event will provide attendees with information on offered healthcare plans including Medicare plans. Seniors can take advantage of free glucose screenings and blood pressure checks provided by Community First, Texas Diabetes Institute and University Health. The event will also include fun activities such as Bingo, Live Music, Zumba and much more.

In addition, the first 150 seniors who attend will be eligible to receive a free bag of groceries when they sign up for the University Health Platinum U newsletter.
